MATA IMPRESSED WITH UNITED NEW SIGNINGS
Manchester United star Juan Mata wrote in his personal blog that he was impressed by the display of the club new signings following their game against Chelsea. The hosts had a good start to the new season as they humbled fellow Top Six side with four un-replied goals.
He admitted that the final scoreline was “a little flattering” but that the second half performance showed they improved and took advantage of key moments. He praised Harry Maguire in defence, nicknamed The Beast by team mates, Aaron Wan Bissaka in defence, nicknamed Spidey, and Daniel James, nicknamed the Flash, for adapting very quickly. He added that the trio would offer a lot to the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer led side this season.
Mata hopes that the team will enjoy a lot of such results over the coming months as they challenge for the Premier League title. United play Wolves next on August 19 as they look to make it six points after two games.
While United have concluded their in-bound transfer dealings, they are still trying to offload Alexis Sanchez. The club would be forced to banish the player to train with the reserves if the Chilean refuses to agree to exit the club before the transfer window closes.
Manchester United are keep on transferring all or part of the huge salary burden to another side for a player that has barely given them returns since his move from rival side Arsenal.
