AVB done nothing wrong at Chelsea, it was Drogb, Terry and Lampard the bastards who ruined it for him. Di Matteo is only doing good because Terry and co are running the club not him.

downing needs to retire his position before he starts to lose respect in the eyes of the fans.

Look at the trophy parade through Liverpool 2005 and the chelsea league parade 2009 to see who has the bigger fanbase.

Comolli was being a push over to kenny dalglish and let him have his way, im sure he wouldn’t let it happen this transfer window but its over hes gone, I hope our next DOF doesn’t approve of Kenny dalglishes transfers if its english players, right now don’t shop at england, the only safe players to buy from england are A johnson and defenders.

but have they gotten to a CL final and won the EPL numerous times? Chelsea are a big club with big players and we’re one of the best in europe. It may not seem like it now but AVB is to blame he royally fucked up chelsea.

how else do you want a club to go to the next level and be consistent on the European stage ? money talks in football these days and if you need a sugar daddy to fund your club so be it, i have been supporting chelsea for over 15 years before the owner came and its much more enjoyable seeing big players coming in and your club competing in Europe then just watching them float around in mid table season after season

I heard on many occassions that Mata was going to be signed by Liverpool back in the Torres and Mascherano days. I thought it was a good move, but I heard that alot also.

i agree with, half the money worth part…and i go from a media perspective from USA and reading the guardian im new to this transfer thing for the last two season, i admit. from my point of view it was seen as good thing when downing was signed for his crossing qualities same as charlie adam! i used to only worry about the team i see on the pitch. now is more about the maybe team we’ll bring in! is frustrating cuz fans (myself included) always think we could spot the gem! then adam pops out!lol

completly agree, thats why we have to stick to the fact that mata is no playing for us and there is no definitive assurance to say he would have performed for us as he does for chelsea. fact he is doing great at CHELSEA, fact Downing did well at Aston Villa, Fact we took a chance, fact is not paying off “this season.” if,buts, and maybes, is what this specific entire comment section has been. like i said ill take a gimp down the wing if it wins us games! lol

I think Liverpool will be going for Moses and Zaha this summer due to there U-21 thing they want to do but I don’t believe we wanted Mata at all…
